About

About the Artist

I’m Lindsay, a metalsmith and lapidary based in Southern Utah. I make jewelry by hand, working directly with stone and metal from start to finish. Each piece is built slowly at the bench, guided by the material itself rather than a fixed design.

Process

I cut stones, fabricate settings, and finish each piece by hand in my studio. The process is intentionally slow, allowing the material to influence the final form. Subtle irregularities are as evidence of the work being made by a person, not a machine.

Place

Living and working in Southern Utah shapes how I approach making. Time spent outdoors, rockhounding, and learning directly from the landscape informs both material choices, design, and pacing. My work reflects a connection to place without trying to imitate it.

What Matters

I care about making objects that hold up over time- both physically and emotionally. This means working in small batches, prioritizing quality over speed, and designing pieces meant to be worn regularly, not just admired once.

Jewelry should feel lived in.
