Custom Jewelry Updates

Over the past few months, I’ve been taking on more and more custom jewelry work, and I just want to begin by saying thank you. It truly means so much that you trust me with your ideas, your stones, your love stories, and your milestones. Custom pieces are some of the most meaningful work I get to create. They’re personal, intentional, and completely one of a kind. Every custom project carries weight, and I don’t take that lightly.

As my custom work continues to grow, I’ve made a small but important update to my process to make sure I’m honoring both the materials and the time that go into each piece. Moving forward, custom jewelry will require a 50% deposit of the final quoted price upfront, with the remaining balance due upon completion before pickup or shipping. This deposit allows me to purchase sterling silver, stones, and any specialty materials needed for your piece, while also reserving dedicated bench time to focus on your project. Custom work is a collaborative process that involves sketching, sourcing, sawing, soldering, stone setting, finishing, and polishing, and I want to ensure I’m creating from a place of sustainability and care.

When you invest in a custom piece, you’re not purchasing costume jewelry. You’re investing in precious metal. Sterling silver is a true precious metal with intrinsic value. It can be polished, repaired, resized, melted down, reset, and passed on. Unlike plated or base metals that wear away over time, sterling silver is meant to live with you. It holds up. It lasts. It becomes part of your story. Custom sterling silver jewelry is heirloom quality, designed to be worn for decades and eventually passed down, carrying both material worth and emotional meaning.

Each custom piece reflects the cost of precious metals, stones, studio overhead, years of skill development, and the hours spent at the bench bringing your vision to life by hand. Making sure I’m paid fairly for both materials and my time allows me to continue doing this work long term and to keep showing up fully for the people who trust me with their stories.

I am deeply grateful for every custom order that comes through my studio. Thank you for choosing handmade. Thank you for valuing craftsmanship, supporting slow, intentional work.

If you’re dreaming up a custom piece, I would love to create it with you.
